Being environmental friendly is a core concern for the TLA Group.
Since 2009, we have been involved in the preservation of the environment on a national and departmental level.
CO2 OBJECTIVE
Signing of a voluntary commitment charter to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by road hauliers, called “Objectif CO2, les transporteurs s’engagent”. (Objective CO2, Carriers commit)
Our commitments:
- Vehicles: regular maintenance and renewal of the engine fleet, use of new equipment and technological solutions to reduce fuel consumption and therefore CO2 emissions.
- Fuel: optimising consumption thanks to new driving analysis software and the use of alternative fuels to reduce our dependency on diesel fuel.
- Driver: Our truck drivers are trained to eco-driving. Our objective is to make each of them aware that they are at the heart of one of the most impactful vectors of CO2 emissions’ reduction, that is to say :driving.
- Transport: rethinking and optimising the organisation of rounds.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Our commitments:
- Reducing water and energy consumption,
- Better waste management,
- Information and empowerment of our staff.
Car wash
TLA Group is also a truck wash with very low water consumption, integrating rainwater recovery and recycling of washing water.
A double interest:
- Saving and reprocessing approximately 1,800 cubic metres of water per year.
- Limiting the discharge of wastewater.
Our aim: to reduce our environmental footprint.
